Phenacites are rare berylium silicate crystals found in Brazil, Madagascar, Russia and the USA. They have a hardness of about 7.5 and are colourless, grey or golden. They grow in numerous shapes.

Metaphysically, Phenacite is perhaps the most powerful gemstone known for activating the third eye chakra.
