Moldavite is a translucent green gemstone associated with a meteor strike which occurred in the Czech Republic some 15 million years ago. It is classed scientifically as a tektite with a hardness of 6. Moldavite has been prized by humans for over 25,000 years

Intuitive sources say Moldavite can accelerate the path of evolution and spiritual growth. Connected with the legendary Stone of the Holy Grail, "the emerald that fell from Heaven". It can cleanse and activate all the chakras and initiate spiritual experiences.

About Moldavite

Moldavite is a form of tektite and can be found in shades of green or green/brown. Moldavite is "glassy " in appearance and has intricate distinctive patterning over it's surface.

The origins of Moldavite coincide with the explosion produced when a large meteorite hit an area in the Czech Republic about 15 million years ago. Several theories have arisen as to the exact nature of Moldavite including that it is of extra-terrestial origin, perhaps a form of Obsidian from a lunar volcano, or an Earthly mineral transformed by the meteorite's impact, or a combination of the two. An extra-terrestial material or meteorite fused with an Earthly mineral.

Whatever the origin the heat and energy produced by the meteorite's impact would have caused material in the vicinity to vapourize. The resulting gas being propelled high into Earth's atmosphere which on cooling would have changed states from gaseous to liquid which then "fell" back to the Earth's surface. The shape and surface pattens of Moldavite are indicitive of this being true

From this one can link Moldavite to the legend of the "Emerald that fell from the sky" and subsequent links to the chalice of the "Holy Grail" - the chalice being a "stone".

The frequency of Moldavite connects to all the physical and transpersonal chakras but notably the heart and third eye chakras. It can open and activate any of the chakras helping to remove and clear blockages and align the chakras and energy fields.
