This stone is a white coloured variety of calcite, a mineral family that comes in a variety of colours. It is a calcium carbonate mineral with a hardness of 3. Merkabite Calcite is found in the great plains of the USA.
Mystic Lore: Intuitive sources gave the name "Merkabite" to this Calcite because it is believed to awaken and activate the "Merkabah vehicle of Light" also known as the "Rainbow Body".
