Fulgurite is a highly unusual tubular object formed when lightning strikes sand or other silica-rich earth. These objects are most often found on beaches and deserts.

Mystic Lore: Intuitive source say that Fulgurites have long been used by shamans to speed their prayers to the Other World and to amplify their effects by calling upon the Storm energies. Often, prayers and intentions are blown through the hole in the tube. They are said to be the most powerful representatives of the Storm element, facilitating transformation on all levels.
