Rose Quartz is the pink variety of quartz. It is found on every continent and its hardness is 7. The largest deposits come from Brazil although good material is also found in South Dakota in the USA. Its colour ranges from nearly white to deep red-pink. Crystals (clusters) are rare.
Mystic Lore: Intuitive sources say that Rose Quartz is the stone for the enhancement of love in all its forms. It is said to be emotionally soothing and supportive, to help heal the pains of past emotional wounds and to release stress.
