Opal is a hydrated silica mineral which comprises of microscopic spheres of silica which are bound together with water and silica. There are two forms of Opal, common and precious. The latter exhibits "fire" which is the result of the silica spheres forming a regular pattern within the crystalline matrix that can diffuse light. Common Opal is normally opaque the colour range including white, blue, pink, yellow, yellow/orange, brown or black.

Pink Opal is a variety of common Opal. The colour ranges from pale pink, rose pink to a yellow toned pink.

The frequency of Pink Opal connects to the heart chakra. It helps to heal the emotions and the emotional body of deeply held wounds and traumas by aiding their release.
