Chalcedony

Calming and Communication

Chalcedony is a silicon dioxide mineral that is composed of sub-microscopic particles of Quartz often coloured and patterned with various mineral pigments. The Quartz is arranged in fibrous layers as opposed to the "grain-like" structure of Jaspers. The colour range is blue, pink, purple, through to those varieties individually named such as Carnelian, Bloodstone and Chrysoprase.

Blue Chalcedony can range in colour from pale grey/blue through to a deeper violet/blue and is translucent to opaque is appearance.

The frequency of Blue Chalcedony connects to, and activates, the throat and third eye chakras allowing one to communicate with higher dimensional beings to receive information and guidance and then communicate this knowledge to others. Thus it can aid with telepathy and channelling.

The energy is calming, soothing and cooling to one's energy fields. It can help one to acknowledge and release negative energy patterns of worry and anxiety. It can help with issues of the throat area such as vocal chords, sore throats and infections.
