Nirvana Quartz is a variety of Growth Interference (GI) Quartz (silicon dioxide). It was first discovered in 2006 high up in the Himalayan mountains of India having lain under ice for 1000's of years. It is thus also known as "Ice Quartz".
Its appearance is of an irregular shaped, deeply recessed and oddly contoured crystal, no two seeming to be the same. Usually the points do not have the regular six sides and terminations normally found with other types of Quartz although some have natural facets or smooth areas. The colour of Nirvana Quartz is either clear/white or pink.
The frequency of Nirvana Quartz connects to all the chakras, the clear/white having a particularily strong connection to the third eye and crown chakras whilst the pink has a strong connection to the heart chakra.
Nirvana Quartz aids one to find "inner peace" during meditation, to discover and reveal that which one needs to do to consciously to move forward on one's evolutionary path. The clear/white stimulates and activates the third eye and crown chakras whilst the pink opens the heart chakra so that one's being can be filled with love and joy and possess an "inner illumination". Nirvana Quartz helps one acknowledge deeply held self-destructive emotional patterns and fears and then to replace those emotions with feelings of total calmness, peace and trust. It allows one to live in the "Now".
