Patience and Grounding

Petrified Wood, also known as fossilized wood and Agatized Wood, is a member of the Quartz family of silicon dioxide minerals. It is formed when the organic material, wood, is quickly covered with a fine-grained sedimentary rock which causes petrification to occur whereby the original "form" of the wood such as the patterns of growth rings and bark are preserved. The organic material is pseudomorphized, replaced with Chalcedony, Jasper or Opal. The colours produced are rich browns, red/brown, grey, yellow/orange and black.

The frequency of Petrified Wood connects to the Earth Star and base chakras. It assists one to ground energy within one's energy fields to the magnetic core of the Earth, thus completing the transference of energy through one's being. It offers strength and support to one's physical body and thus helps with spine and skeletal issues and general physical stability and healing. It supports one emotionally allowing one to have patience and allows one to spiritually evolve at a steady rate.

Petrified Wood can help one connect with one's "roots" to gain knowledge and wisdom. It helps one acknowledge and release deeply held emotional patterns from one's ancestral line that are no longer serving one but are being held in one's "cellular memory".

It carries the vibrational energy of the past and ancient times and shows one how to connect to the Earth's physicality and therefore the third dimension.
