Rainbow Obsidian
Healing of Emotional Wounds and Grounding of Spiritual Light
Rainbow Obsidian is a form of Obsidian, a glassy silica rich volcanic rock. The characteristic "Rainbow" effect, banding of blue, purple, violet, red, green and gold, is revealed when the Obsidian is highly polished and viewed in strong light, especially sunlight. The banding effect is caused when layers of molten lava cool at different rates or times.
The frequency of Rainbow Obsidian connects to the base chakra. It allows one to journey deep into one's consciousness and to connect to one's soul to discover deeply held emotional wounds and traumas so they can be acknowledged and released. Thus allowing one's soul to be healed and to radiate and shine its "Light".
