Rutilated Quartz is a combination of either Clear or Smokey Quartz (both silicon dioxide minerals) with inclusions of Rutile (a titanium oxide mineral). The Rutile inclusions appear as fine needles or hair-like particles coloured gold, gold/yellow, copper/red/brown or silver.
It is also known as Angel Hair Quartz but only where the fine gold coloured Rutile is included within Clear Quartz.
The frequency of Rutilated Quartz is connected to all of the physical and transpersonal chakras. The combination of Quartz and Rutile energies amplify and accelerate the energy flow. When present in Clear Quartz the Rutile acts to accelerate and amplify one's intentions when programming it. When included in Smokey Quartz the Rutile strengthens its grounding energy.
The specific colours of the Rutile can direct energy in various ways.
The copper/red tones help to remove energy blockages within the physical body thus helping the physical body to integrate higher vibrational "light" energy and aiding with one's physical well-being.
The gold/yellow tones help to enhance one's creative energies and by activating the upper chakras allows one to receive information and knowledge from the higher dimensions. It helps one to maintain mental focus and clarity of thought.
The silver tones help one to enhance one's psychic and intuitive abilities.
