Spirit Quartz is type of Quartz (silicon dioxide) with an unusual growth habit characterized by a central facetted terminated point, the main body of which is covered in small terminated points. It is also known as Cactus Quartz or Porcupine Quartz. It is usually composed of Amethyst although it can occur as Citrine, White Quartz and Smokey Quartz. It is found only in South Africa.
The frequency of Spirit Quartz connects to the earth star, base, solar plexus, third eye and crown chakras depending on the main type of crystal. All types help one to connect one's "lower" personality self to one's "higher" self or soul to bring forth the knowledge and wisdom of one's soul to help one's own evolution and, by doing so, "all" of mankind. It brings high vibrational energy into one's physical body which helps to energize and align all of one's energy fields thereby fully integrating the energy on all levels of one's being.
Due to the nature of its form it helps one to connect to the "group consciousness" so that one feels part of the whole of humanity and one does not operate only from the "self" or "ego". Thus it is helpful for those who tend to be self-centred or egotistical. It can also help those who are shy to become more open and feel relaxed in the company of others.
Spirit Quartz acts as a "psycho-pomp" supporting one's soul energy as it travels away from the physical third dimension to the ethereal higher dimensions, thus helping to support those who are in the process of dying or "passing over".
Amethyst Spirit Quartz connects to and harmonizes the energies of the third eye and crown chakras so that one is open to receive information and guidance from the higher dimensions that is for the "Good of All". It cleanses and purifies one's energy fields and helps to dispel negativity and entities (or implants) from one's energy fields and thus offers energetic protection.
Citrine Spirit Quartz connects and stimulates the solar plexus chakra so that one can stand in one's own personal power. It aligns ones "personal will" with "Divine will" so that one can manifest that which is in one's highest good and thus one becomes "empowered".
Smokey Spirit Quartz connects to the Earth Star and base chakras, grounding high vibration energy into one's being. Its protective energies are enhanced by the nature of the Smokey Quartz, the multi terminations dispelling and deflecting any negativity being directed into one's energy fields and one's environment.
White Spirit Quartz connects to and energizes all of the physical and transpersonal chakras. It aligns one's energy fields so that one feels "revitalized" and thus helps to support one's physical well being and also to heal on all levels.
